Getting an "illegal disc" message with Nero

Hello, I'm getting an "illegal disc" when trying to burn a DVD, it seems to be that the discs aren't recognised (low quality) I tried burning Verbatim disc also without success, the funny thing is that I have a DVD+RW HP and I can write to it ok.
I´ve already burned some Verbatims before, but now I'm getting this error.

Here is what Nero Logs says:

Update your firmware - see here.

I'd also swap the burner and the old Pioneer DVD-ROM drive around on the IDE cable.

Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.
