    Yeah no beer at theaters.
I always thought it was BYOB at my theater? Nothing like hearing 6 long neck bottles rolling across the floor cause you accidentally knocked them over during a key scene in the movie.

That was during the movie "Ali". That was the last time I was at the theaters.

I used to hate beer in the cans! My leather jacket could hold up to 4 long necks, so I would make several trips outside during the movie to refill.

Since then though, I quit drinking. Haven't had a alcoholic drink in 2 years.

Dunno why you hate theaters... you should see mine, that would change your mind entirely. Never had any interruptions there, great sound, sometimes even too loud, they have like 16 speakers on the wall, can't find that at a home theater system!

The Arcadia theater in St Charles, IL is an old old theater, and the last owners served beer and played second run movies for cheap, and the beer wasnt even that expensive either!

Got pretty hammered there on one of my bdays watchin Bruce Almighty

            even has a balcony

but i dont think its still doing it anymore

years ago I used smuggle beers into the theater since the side exit cuts thru my old favorite bar the Scotland Yard, used buy my ticket have the ol lady grab a seat and phone in my beer order and meet the bartender at the door ah the good ol days

There's and old theater in Wisconsin called the Rivoli that does that, too. They deliver pizzas, so that makes them a restaurant, which means they can serve alcohol, too. they have tables down on the floor, then rows of seats and then the balcony. absolutely great place! they even put football games on the big screen (can't charge admission, but rake in the dough on beer and food!) Places like that are a dying breed.

No matter what you do, pirates will find a way to pirate movie. They always have and always will, even if they get caught doing it. That's just how the world is. Maybe somewhere far off in the future they might have a chance to fight against these pirate (which i hope they don't) and stop them but even then people working for those compamnies that make those projecters are going to know some way to alter it to allow piracy and those ppl sometimes are the pirates. Anyways there my 10 cents in this matter

Although, why is it every time I'm alone in a theater someone has to plop themselves right in back of me? (and I'm not talking adult theater!)

                          My DVD's... seriously.

hmm, I am starting to think many of you are showing their age and that the younger ones lack proper role models.

Has everyone forgot the good time they had in the back row or balcony of the movie theater???? Its bad enough that the drive-in is all but a thing of the past.....but if the theaters died too?? I shudder to think of the consequences to our youth.
