I need doc from Italy

hi all.
i need one doc from Italy.
is the "paper" about the birth of my granpa(father of my father)!
if i can explain better: is the "certidão de nascimento" of my granpa!(Italians can read it and understand,i will)
i know that this doc can be send inside a single "letter"!

anyone can care this for me or give me in the right direction?

You mean Birth certificate? I am not sure how things work in Italy but here we can get such things from our court house hope that helps

If I understand correctly, you need birth certificate.

I think that you must send a request to the right place. Do you remember the exact name of the city in which your granpa was born?

yes,
the right name is "birth certificate" (i don't knew in english or italian)

i know where my granpa was born and all details(date,etc).
the Italian consul need this doc to give Italian nationality(write this way?) for me and my sons. (more for my sons)
the consul told me that this doc can be send inside a letter if someone in Italy could get it for me..(i will pay the doc,letter,etc...all needed of course!!)
here is "impossible" to get it!

if needed i pm all details, i need someone with good will and patience to do that if possible!

try to do a google search with the name of the birth city, to see if there is an anagraphic service in this city.

i'm lucky guys.
the sister of one cool friend of mine will go to Italy in jan 27!
my friend told me that his sister can send the birth certificate for me!
