still pics to mpeg

does anyone know of a program that takes still images (jpeg or gif) and makes a mpeg slidshow, were i can add music or sound. i found videomach but i wanted to ask around for better ones. thanks

You can accomplish this by using Blaze Media Pro to first create an AVI file of the graphic images (Try a time delay of 5.00). Then use TMPGE to both add your audio stream and create an MPEG (or MPEG1-VideoCD for play on a standalone DVD player) file.

By the way, although Blaze Media Pro will let you create an MPEG file (rather than an AVI file), the time delay does not appear to work for that format...

Blaze Media Pro worked great it's a very powerful tool. just might buy it after i play around with it.
