I have Nero 6 Ultra Edition on my win 2kPro desktop at home. And Nero has no support forum. I'm running the out-of-the-box Nero - no updates, though I just downloaded the 6.6 updates to install later.
My question:
I have had a stupid little problem on both Nero OEM (which came with my lite-on dvd-r/rw/+r/+rw burner) and Nero 6.
When I do a disc to disc copy (writing), Nero freezes after completion. The CDs work fine, but the #$%^&&%$ program hangs when I click next to get back to the main menu (This is nero Express, by the way, that I'm using). I love my Disc-to-Disc copy, but I hate shutting down my PC each time I do one. (It eats up enough resources to make a noticeable performance drop - I have to shut the thing down to kill Nero.) When I do a simulation, the thing behaves fine, but the actual burning makes Nero hang like a vine from a tree.
I don't run any programs when I'm burning the CD. The CDs work fine - I can't find any help anywhere on this problem.
Has anyone else seen this? Does the 6.6 update fix it? Is there a setting I can change to make this stop happening?
