Where can I find code to disable Macrovision on an LG LRY-517?

The Region Free Hack does not disable macrovision. (The "7 zeros" region hack is explained at videohelp.com).

macrovision is a slightly different to region hacks. these days, most units are hard-wired for macrovision, but perhaps you can talk to your service dealer & ask if a firmware mod is available (a possibility).
it would have been easier if you never had "combo" unit, then you could invest in a "black-box" (named differently in other nations) that defeats the m-v purpose.
