    Power DVD and ATI

This is more of a hardware and software problem. i've got an Ati All in Wonder Radeon 7500 (save your jeers) and a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 (save the snickers) in my system. The work relatively well, the ATI Dvd app has a wonderful picture but the software Sp/Dif out is always a few frames behind the characters mouths on screen. When I try to enable hardware Sp/Dif on the card itself, the DVD player just locks. When I boot to win98 from 2000, I've got power DVD and its a bit better. I don't think the quality is as nice as ATI's, but it can do SP/Dif. When I try to enable hardware acceleration, the thing freezes. It seems that whenever sp/dif and hardware acceleration is enabled, it crashes. I can do sofware (Xp 1900), but it can't do many background processes with software
