    Which dvd+r D/L?

I bought some RIdisc dvd:r D/L to back up a film, it copied perfectly and worked in my pc but not my dvd player. I got the same results from some more expensive verbatim discs. is this a problem with my panasonic dvd-s27 and my philips DVDR75 or can anyone reccomend which blank discs may work?

is your writer capable of bitsetting? dvd-rom might be the answer.
