    Nero Recode

I am new to converting video. I am using Nero Recode to convert a non-encrypted DVD (on the HDD) to mp4. My first try went a little badly i had selected speed so a single pass, and i ended up witha green ish tinge to the movie in places. So i then used the 2nd pass option, this sorted out the issue. Thes second movie i then converted, worked with the 2nd pass with no issues. However now even with the second pass option, i am still getting the greenish tinge to the movie. I am compressing it to fit onto a 800 MB CD.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows of a fix.

    Cheers

the number of passes you use to encode should have no affect on color tinge's. the extra pass/es are used to more efficiently allocate the video bitrate. the greenish tinge IMO would be from a video codec problem or video driver/s problem. try uninstalling and reinstalling the video codec and check for updated video drivers.
