        cannot read dvd (cd okay)

i bought sh s162L and it was working properly for a month. it can burn, read and light scribe when suddenly, while burning a data, it didnt finish the job. it just stopped. since then, when i try to load a blank dvd or any dvd in the tray, it wont load. it makes that sound that looks like searching or reading and even the light indicator in the cpu looks like its working but it doesnt. it just does it but nothing happens. it seems slow but when i wait for it, it would take years~ what's weird is that when you put any cd, its okay.

i check the dma set up and both of my drives are in dma.

A system aspi was necessary(sort of) for windows 9x(win 95,98,ME), nero's aspi works much better, a system aspi is not necessary for windows W2K, Wxp and beyond. System aspi can cause problems with them. SPTI takes aspi's place.

nero has changed the info tool so much it bears little resemblance to this guide

I have zipped and attached the infotool from nero 6 for alternate use
