What do you expect from CMC Mags? Still, it reckons the disk can be read. It only needs to be read at 1x remember

Well, I never did. They were so variable in their quality, they couldn not be trusted.

Brand schmand - you know that.

looks great until you read this:
Check your old media CMC MAG.AF1!!!
After burning all OK. But after about 0.5 years many
reading errors and sometimes not recognizable even
at burner! and other DVD-ROM. Tryed to restore with
restoring tool isobuster, sometimes outputing many failures. I will never buy memorex!

I want to ask this question too about quality? few weeks ago I had to reburn some Memorex disc that quality was really bad ( below 50 or even 0), I was able to reburn and check them alright in my dvd player ( the reburn), my question is that how long is the dvd qua go really bad that the ripping process become impossible, to me 0 is the lowest but I still get a reburn done, if we can reburn it then why bother? as long as the information is still in the dvd?

    any input would be great

the 0 to 100 scale is misleading, it's based soley on a peak value, pof's reported by benq's are probably more relevant.
Don't let them get this bad

Gee thanks Blutach! Not a record to be proud of. Needless to say I only use good media on all my backups since that disaster!

Yeah I have CD/DVD speed v 4.51.1, that is just an old scan I had saved on my computer. Luckily I have never had another scan that compares to it!

Oh...thanks Gary! You have a great day too fellow Canuck!
