Burner may have died, what blanks are you using?

try a manual burn with nero

if they are new blanks you may need a firmware upgrade for the bulk benq 1620

      G7V9

        updated to benq 1620

        HI,
I am sorry, I dont understand, burnder died? that means, burner cannot be fixed?

You are right, I was using a new blanks 8X +R brand PLAYO.

I went to benq and downloaded 1620 G7V9 and updated my firmware, but now as soon as I open my DVD decryptor, I get this error message :

        I/O Error!
        Device:[1:0:0] ATAPI DVD DD 2X16X4X16 G7V9 (F (ATA)
        ScsiStatus:0x02

Interpretation:Logical Block address out of Range
        Retry cancel

Does it mean I updated a wrong firmware :

I found I/O magic site for firmware down load
A leader in design and manufacturing of desktop and mobile technology products for over 20 years.

In this page there are two identical drives the last two drives on this page 1620 and 1620 A, I dont know which one is mine.

Also, I dont know, since I already updated to G7V9, can i try G7Z9 again.
        Can you please help!
        Thanks in advance!

DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor Both dont work!

I tried to open the disc with DVD Shrink ! oh man, I get this error message :
DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
Failed to read the file "F:\"
          The Parameter is incorrect!
DVD Decryptor is also giving me an error and DVD shrink also giving an error.
          Do I have any hope?

            First there's only one benq 1620, but 2 sets of firmware, a B and a G set.
We won't count color here. The G firmware's don't scan and you can't use a B firmware on a G drive unless you use a special Hack.
Go into device manager and remove the drive and reboot.

I have been trying more than 5 movies, Face off, Conair, The world is not enough, a beautiful mind. I dont think it is the movie, as I am typing now, I just ripped a beautiful mind with DVD FAB Platinum , DVD Shrink is encoding it now. I would like to see if it can burn without any problem.
