Is it common for DVD+RW discs to become unusable after only being used a few times? I use a Lite-on recorder 5005 and have been using 100 RiData DVD+RW discs for a few months, but I keep getting errors such as "data disk" or "file" when I try to re-use some of the discs. I have tried a complete erasing with Nero, but it still is rejected by the recorder with "fail." If that happens is the disc of no further use or can it be "saved" somehow with another erasing program? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

you may want to try and erase it with Imagburn:

I don't know about the +'s, but I had the same problem with some -'s I got a while ago. They now reside in some landfill. Ridata didn't win any points with me.Blessed are they who expect nothing, for they shall not be disappointed!👍 1Comment
