    Nero Write Error help

    Burner: DRU-810A
    Media: Memorex DVD+R DL

Every other disc becomes a coaster. I'm trying to back up my movie collection, but when burning Dual Layers, I get an error right after Nero switches to the 2nd layer. After this happens, i can re-backup the movie folder that is already on the C drive using DVDshrink, and the burn comes out fine.

    Here is the error log:

Hi and welcome to the forum, Ry4n!

That bad burning - was that one when you burned directly from DVD Shrink?

      Thanks for the warm welcome.

Yes that was directly from DVDshrink. This has just recently started happening. The burner was working great up until maybe a week ago, but now that it has started, I can't seem to get a clean burn anymore.

I'll bump this with an update:

I successfully backed up two movies on the first try with Verbatim +R DL discs. They burned at 8x, which I was not expecting, but they still came out fine. I'm not sure if it was bad media or if I fixed it when I cleaned off the lense inside the burner..
