the best deals on high quality media

Everything is so region specific, I would lke to start off with the USA

Taiyo Yuden media is the best all round.

available online(watch sales, especially free shipping)
supermedia, rima, meritline, etc in bulk you can buy dvd-r's for less than 30C
    dvd+r's are a little pricey

In B&M(brick and mortar) stores the best sales are Sony(made in japan) and verbatim disks. Often around 30C a disk.

in Canada the best online source seems to be http://www.blankmedia.ca/

In Great Britian the best online seems to be http://svp.co.uk/

Ok but finding the MIJ media anymore in the brick and mortar stores is getting to be like finding a needle in a haystack. My Staples has some sony dvd-r's that are MIJ, but I generally use the plus. I'm thinking of getting them Just because. Out here in the old (north) west (usa) B&M' sell media at about the same rate. I have learned and found so much useful about media quality that I even look for the MIJ even for cd-r's. I have found that the MBI dvd's are pretty good if you can find them cheap enough, but there cd-r leaves something to be desired.
If you use these forums you will not have to face that...
