A transparent border in the result!!

    Hi,

I encoded a movie using Divx 4. When played the result movie, a tranparent thin border appeared in the right side of the picture all the time. It seemed not a flaw of encoding tools for I have tried FlaskMpeg and NanDub, both got the same.

Could anyone please tell me why this happened? How do I eliminate it?

    Thanks.

How can you see it if it is transparent? Only in fullscreen or also in desktop mode? What resolution? Only this movie or every movie? What's your hardware? Best would be a screenshot of this effect.

It's half-transparent, a bit darker than other part, so I can see.

Now it's have resolved after I uninstall 5.01 codec and using 4.12 to run it. I think 5.01 is buggy.

This is a know bug in the divx5.0.1 playback filter.

The problem is that the rightmost collum of macroblocks does not respect brightness/saturation settings.
