Ripit4me ver 1.4.11.0 and burn error problem

    Hi

After upgrading ripit4me to version 1.4.11.0, I ran the program as I have done with previous versions in the past, but this time, I received the following 'burn error' at the start of the burn process.

    Logs attached.

I hope someone can help ?

Sorry about posting in the wrong forum...........I had no idea that my problem was a burning and media issue because the DVD-RW I used had been, in the past, successfully burned numerous times (about 7 times) using the same 'modus operandi' (ie 1 click ripit4me, shrink & nero) without problems. The last (successful) burn was 4 days ago. I always follow the 'Golden Rules of Burning'

When I placed the DVD-RW in the burner, the last command I gave was 'yes' to Shrinks question 'This disc is not empty...do you want to erase it'

It erased the disc and began to 'lead-in' for a duration of about 1 minute or so before the error message was displayed.

I tried a 2nd time using the same disc and again I got a burn error

The following disc Info was obtained using Nero CD-DVD Speed:
        TDK
        TDK601saku
        Blank DVD
        Length 4.38 GB

I cannot scan the disc using 'Nero-Scan Disc', as the dvd appears empty and the 'start' tab is grayed out.

The disc is about 9 months old

There is no physical signs of damage (ie scratches, dirt, smudges, etc)

Is it possible that my burner has damaged this disc when the contents were erased during the burn.

Anyway, I repeated the backup process with a new DVD-RW (TDK601saku) with success; however this doesn't explain the failure of the other disc, which has been successfully burned many times before.

Perhaps there is some clue in the logs that I posted that could explain this problem ?
