If you used Dvd Decrypter: Program Files / Dvd Decrypter / Log. If you used Nero: Program Files / Ahead / Nero / History.

time to get a new drive, pitch that old samsung cd-rom, and put a new dvd burner in, save the sony as a back up for the cd-rw(too old also)

2-3 years on any optical drive is long enough

too many drives and you overtax your power supply

having a hard drive and a dvd burner on the same channel is not reccomended

keep the drives that talk to each other(bad analogy?) on seperate cables

the sony and the maxtor make for conflicts if used at the same time

if the sony whose firmware is 2 years old and a 2nd generation liteon drive

                      May 31, 2004 OEM Liteon SOHW-812S
hasn't had much use it might be worthwhile to change it over to a liteon with newer firmware, I didn't want to waste our time on a wore out drive

same tyg03 disks? well the sony/liteon may be wearing out or dirty, your player may be likewise, power supply giving out.

I check my rips and transcodes on the computer, every now and then you get a bad disk that glitches.
