    Deinterlacing PAL-movie

    Hi there
I'm currently converting Nurse Betty (PAL-DVD), and i'm having trouble deinterlacing it. I've tried everyone of the methods i xmpeg, and none of them seems to do anything. I've read a few suggestions about using the ivtc option in tmpgenc, but as i have understood the suggestions, that only applies to ntsc movies (29.97 fps).

Has any one got a suggestion on how i'm gonna get done?

You should not use xmpeg and absolutly not when you're going to deinterlace
Yo should try to use GordianKnot and Nandub, a little bit harder but absolutly worth it. Feelfree to read my guide at hem.fyristorg.com/dvdriping it should help you and it also includes easy deinterlacing with goridanknot.

if you are using vdub use the smart/bob deinterlacing filter

      that should sort u out

      or

use the fast deinterlacing option when saving the dvd2avi project to avs in Gknot
