Getting illegal disc burn process failed message when trying to burn a DVD with Nero

    Hello,
I'm currently having a problem burning any discs with Nero. I keep getting "burn process failed" as soon as it starts to write to the DVD.
This is happening with any format I attempt to burn, as you can see from the log, all I tried to burn was some picture files.
I have a memorex DVD writer that came with Nero Suite, it supports DVD + / - / RW discs.
I have Nero OEM version 6.6.1.4
Here is the error log: (this was done using Sony DVD -Rs, but happens with + R format as well)

Looks like you got a duff disk or burner (try to clean it).

Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning and also Interpret Ner0's error codes in my signature.

Have you tried a drive cleaning kit?

Also try using Verbatims or Taiyo Yuden blanks.

I tried imgburn and received some sort of I/O error....

I haven't tried cleaning the drive, and not sure how, any suggestions would be great

I've tried to burn ISOs created with DVD shrink, (same ISOs which have worked in the past), I also tried just to slap a bunch of pictures (like 300 MB worth) on a data dvd disc to see if it just dealt with images, and I still am getting the illegal disc burn error

It still burns CDs fine but is giving me all this hassle with DVDS

I even tried a system restore to restore it back to when everything worked fine and no luck

I'm going to try using a different brand DVD-R as suggested, even though this batch of sony DVD-Rs has worked for me before

I also downgraded nero to version 6.6.0.18 and used the inCD clean tool afterwards and tried to burn again, here is the log from that:
