pioneer 111d burn at 2x? no

    pioneer 111d burn at 2x? no

    i have just installed my new burner a pioneer 111d firmware 1.29....i says it can burn 1-16 times,but when i try to burn with shrink and nero enabled it only will do 4x? and btw iam using taiyo yuden tygo2....
    my other burner is a samsung tsst corp and it will burn at 2x no problem? is there a setting that i can change it?

    Put a blank disc in the drive before choosing your burn speed and see if this helps.

      the allowable burn speeds are controlled by the burner's firmware. nero info tool, dvddecrypter and imgburn will give you that information if you insert a blank disk in the pioneer
