Nero Thinks my burned dvd's are cd-r's?!

Background: Trying to make a copy of a copy. Original dvd was copied using dvd shrink and nero to burn (automatically, not manually). Now I am using nero express to copy the copy. When I put the copy in one drive, and a blank DVD-R in the other, Nero tells me that the source disk is a CD-R/RW (when in fact it is a DVD+R), and won't let me copy it to a dvd. I can make copies of a copy just fine if I use dvd shrink to do it, but I would prefer to save the time that it takes to encode the dvd, since it has already been shrunk to fit on a DVD-/+R. Can someone help me figure this out? Log is posted below. Thanks!

          Update

          Turned on DMA, same problem.

Updated Nero, still the same problem.

          Cleaned drive, same problem.

Noticed that there was a firmware update for that drive, (OEM update from Dell), and decided to give it a try.

OEM Dell update killed the drive. Bios would not recognize it, and the tray would not open via the button on the drive. Attempting to reflash was unsuccessful, because it could not find the drive.

Went to Samsung, got their current firmware for this drive, and used mtkflash in dos to try to reflash the drive. Jackpot! The drive is back, and it reads my DVD's correctly now.

          Thanks for the help.
