    resize 110mb video file to 100 mb video file

    hi all


    I want to upload a movie to youtube but my movie is 110 mb ... how can I resize it to a 100 mb file?

    either:

    -re-enocode video at a lower bitrate with something like autoGK or virtualdub

    -remove a segment with virtualdub

    -re-encode audio at a lower bitrate (though 64kbps is plently low already and likely won't save as much as 10mb)

      I reccomend AutoGK, set target size to 98MB (just to be safe, it can be off by a MB or 2)

        What format is it?

        I use PocketDivxEncoder freeware.

          due to relatively huge vbr-mp3-in-avi overhead. autogk should compensate for that, or at least regular gordian knot does.
