Nothing happening when attempting burns

I tried to burn Narnia a few weeks back. I successfully removed the encryption with DVDFAb Decrypter, then used DVD Shrink. When I went to burn, absolutely nothing happens. Yesterday I removed encryption on the film Dreamer with no problem in DVD Shrink, and still no action when trying to copy to blank Philips media. I have a Plextor 712A burner and no problem burning cds in this Plextor drive. I've been burning dvds with this setup for a few years with no issues. I can hear the drive spinning, too. I use Roxio EAsy Creator 6 Basic for my software. XP Pro. Thanks for your help.

Roxio sucks! Get ImgBurn, its free.

I'll check it out when I get home. Do you think that is my problem, the Roxio software? It's been working fine all this time.

trying another software is a good check, your burner may be dead(for dvd's).

Sorry it took so long to get back to this. I did get my Plextor drive to burn properly with ImgBurn after using DVDFab Decrypter and Dvd Shrink.
