DVD ‘s stops and jumps in DVD player.
Burning DVD’s from home videos using WIN DVD CREATOR, When playing DVD in home player, after appox one hour DVD will start to stop and jump. The problem will get progressively worse (appox 3 hours) when DVD is just a series of still frames. The DVD Plays ok on my computer. Can anyone please help as I’m very ,very, very fed up.

Most of times this problem is due to a low quality media.

What discs are you using? What burner do you have? What firmware installed? At what speed are you burning these discs?

About media, can you post here both brand and mediacode? You can retrieve mediacode with cd-dvd speed or with DVD Identifier, both free softwares.

About firmware, you can find this information with cd-dvd speed.

            Problem sorted !

Problem sorted ! seems to be a media problem, I was using DVD RW’s made sense as I could check editing, chapters ect and redo if needed. This time used a DVD R and it plays ok.
Thanks for taking the time to help a new boy like me
