Program to reformat/erase a DVD

Hi there, i used Nero's "Full Erase" on my dvd's when needed, but i've been having a lot of trouble with Nero 7

Does anyone know of some small (cheap/free) program that would let me reformat my dvd's?
Or better, does windows xp have something built-in to do it that i'm missing?

Try ImgBurn , Tools>Drive>Erase Disc>Full.
Imho, ImgBurn is a small, free and the best burning program !
