Nero 7 Ultra Edition - DVD's Fail Verification

Greetings fellow burners ...since updating to Nero 7 Ultra Edition I've been experiencing some issues when trying to burn DVD's ..mostly burning data DVD's for storing video, music and other files for back up. The DVD's seem to accept the burn but fail the verification process. (see log below).

I'll admit the medium isn't of the highest quality Laser DVD-R/Techworks.

Would someone kindly check out my log and if something is glaring advise me and / or is there another Burning program that high end users find stable?

    Many thanks

Make sure whatever you burn with is up to date & read to use The Golden Rules.

the media used(mid code) is hit or miss

        so that tells us nothing

only rated at 8X so burning at 8X is real iffy

when looking up the firmware for that sony(liteon) drive

Last update: Mon Dec 20, 2004
then we have 800 MB of memory in use(windows and nero might have 500MB),
the other 300MB is a wild card
