problem with subtitles

I just finished backing up a dvd that is in french. When I play it on the computer I can bring up subtitles. But when I burn it I can not do this. any suggestions? I have tried watching preview before I burn but it will not allow me to see if subtitles are on or not Thanks sweepe

Are you using Dvd Shrink before you burn?
