According to the media list,s I have a 8x siver lacquer Taiyo Yuden is a YO2.
Just for my info, whats wrong with a YO3, all three media rating lists I checked rated YO3 as an excellent media.

Most burners and their firmware did an excellent job with the TYG02 mid code,
TYG03 being newer, gave some problems, there was also some evidence of
lower quality, especially in earlier batches. Still the best dash R being made.

The TYG01's, from my limited experience, were the best ever made.

Yep, way back when I usta get those always, then the 02's showed up and not knowing any better at the time I thought the 02's were suppose to be better ....


I still go go the 02 premium over the 03 Value Line, couple of pennies more per disc ... no big deal !!
