    Converting my .bin into mpeg1 or mpeg2

    Okay... I have the .bin from my VCD. I need to figure out how to convert it to a .mpeg1 or a .mpeg2 for my DVD!

    knockout,

    Use program called "ISOBuster" ...

    1) Open .bin file in isobuster

    2) under Track look for folder "MPEGAV" ... highlight it ... in your right hand window you'll see an xxxxxx.dat file

    3) Right click on that file and choose the option "extract but filter only m2f2 mpeg frames" ... and Extarct.

    4) This extracted .dat is a MPEG file ... change .dat to .mpeg ... you are done!

      @gonwk

      To save the extra step with IsoBuster, after selecting "Extract but FILTER only M2F2 Mpeg frames", select a new filename and location on your hard drive to store the file. Be sure to give it a VIDEO.MPG name, with .MPG being the extension, not .DAT as the extension. That way, you don't have to change from .DAT to .MPG again

      Regards
