The Cosmos DVD Collectors' Set (All 12 episodes on 7 DVDs), which sits on a shelf behind me, has been in existence for several years...

        Yes, you are right!

I knew that the Cosmos collection was out on VHS, but was unaware of the DVD collection until my girlfriend bought them for my birthday this October. I'm about halfway through the series and every episode is amazing.

I just bought the Outer Limits DVD set "season one". Its just as good as I remember.

I'll be saving up for the following on DVD.

        Twilight Zone collections, 1-4.
The rest of the Outer Limits seasons.
Star Trek Next Gen, seasons 1-7.

It'll take a while to save for these, but I gotta have em'.

starwars trillogy is on DVD but!!

              Hi all
A friend of mine bought the original trillogy on DVD from his contact in hong kong. However when i got to view them it was clear that they were the remastered video editions which had simply been captured onto hard disc then burnt onto three blank DVD-r's!!
So i guess in a way you CAN get them on DVD!! but if like myself you allready own the remastered videos with the extra FX shots inclueded then be wary!! theres no point paying out for the same thing on DVD untill there officially released because the picture quality isnt what it should be!!
Thought i would post this to save people from getting stung like my friend did!!.

I Have the Star Wars Trilogy on VCD

                  Hi,

I have the original Star Wars trilogy on VCD (professional! not homemade) for anyone who wants it.... $xx.xx plus S/H!
                  link removed for spam/pirating/advertising

from the admin : as far as I know, the VCD version of Star Wars cannot be legally distributed, at least not in western countries. Hence, the pirating charge. The Spam/advertising charge is for obvious reasons.

How about The Ice Pirates? It's just one of those B's you love to hate. I'd put that one right along side Critters.
