    Nero Burning Slow Help Please!!!

I got a nasty virus and had to reformat my drive. Ever since i reformated my drive, my computer has been running somewhat slow as if something is locked in on my memory. I could still have the virus i guess, but i thought I would be fine after i reformated...however, now when ever i burn anything...my nero will take 50X longer than it did before. I am lost on where to begin, but would like to burn again. here is my log of a cd that took forever, i ended up cancelling it after getting frustrated. any help would be great.

fix dma on the 120 gig drive

burn slower and use better media if needed, that might be verbatim or memorex for all we know

          Thanks

Thanks so much...seems to be working fine now. You wouldnt know how to set up a RAID controler would ya. I bought it years ago so I could have run my DVDRom Drive, DVD burner and 2 hard drives. It seems when i try to piggy back them any which way, it runs super slow and wont burn or copy from drive to drive.

picking the right pci slot is the hardest part, what controller?

bootable? if so, I put both hard drives on it and have 2 dvd burners standalone master off the motherboard

the only way to set 4 pata drives up in a computer
