Problem: error ignored on start window initialization

    Hi!

I hope someone can help me with this problem:

I have been using divxland's media subtitler for a while, but the other day i got this error when trying to open it:
"error ignored on start window initialization"

and it wont let me open the program or use it..
I tried reinstalling, but I still get the same error.

Has anyone else encountered this? Or know how to make the program functional again?

    Hi denadel,

You must have changed something on your computer or the program itself if all of sudden started giving you this problem.

Have you changed any other software on your computer ... like let's say Windows Media Player!?!?

If nothing else, uninstall it completely and then run CCleaner to get all of it out of your system ... then reboot and again reinstall the "Latest" version ... and post back if it worked.

    G!

Windows vista and windows 7 always gives you a popup when you open a program asking you to allow it or block it.
You need to turn thise of so that divxland media subtitler can work.
How to turn of (Am dutch so i got everything in dutch, so am not sure if its the right name)

        1. Click the controlpanel
        2. Click System and security
        3. Click maintenance
        4. Then on the left you'll see a option for useraccount change (Thise is not the exact name of the option cuze i dont know hot to put it on english but you''ll figure it out)
        5. Then scroll the thing all the way down
        6. It wil ask you to reboot youre pc, if it doesnt then reboot it anyway2work!

I got windows 7 but I think the options are the same for windows vista. If it isnt the same then you'll probably figure it out on youre own.
Goodluck and sorry for my bad english mayte cuze i never realy finished my school in holland hahaha anyways have fun with the program hope it works for you!

          problem solved

I solved this problem by right clicking the Media Subtitle icon and selecting Run as Administrator, then the program finally loaded. I hope this helps
