    freeze a frame

    hi,

    is it possible to freeze for a few seconds on one frame?

    please I need it badly,

    thanks to anyone!!!

    There is an indirect way to do it. Open your video in Virtualdub. Go to the frame you wish to freeze. Now select VIDEO/Copy source frame to clipboard. Then open any image editor(MS-Paint will do).Now Edit/Paste and then Save the image of the frame as bmp or jpeg.
    Now split the video in Virtualdub at the point you want the freeze and insert the image(bmp or jpeg) at that point and save as avi.You will need to reencode though.

      Google "frametweaker" filter. It can freeze, fadein, fadeout etc.
