Upgraded to ConvertX to DVD and burner is not accessed

Hi: I have convertX to DVD and it was working just fine. I then go bombarded with Pop-up to upgrade to latest version, which I did. So, with the new version after encoding completed it goes to the pre burn box and it states to wait 10 seconds and the burn will start... Well that's where it ends. I see the word "burn" at the bottom but the burner has not started? The burner works fine presently on other programs - so it's not the burner??
I see the "nonresponsive" in control-Alt-Delete box. Help Ron
