Recovered AVI Files are all corrupt...

Hey guys, recently my external HD got corrupt when I tried merging partitions on it. I used Ontrack Easy Recovery to recover around 300gb of avi files.

I restored the files from the external to an internal drive. Thought all was good until I realized NONE of around 1000 avi files work at all. Under windows properties, it shows it as an avi file and has the correct file name and size, but I can not view the summary of the files. It says "Summary properties are unavailable for the selected source(s)."

Luckily, mediainfo does recognize most of the files, and I have attached a sample.

    Any ideas?

I would check out AviDemux or another software that can rebuild .avi indexes in batch. See the AviDemux Wiki for all the command line params and sample scripts.
