thanks for the possible threads that help, but its not the burning process, the dvd burns fine but when i put it into the dvd player theres no sound so i used a different program to burn and it says may not play audio due to unsupported audio file or something or other

What process are you using to burn with?
I am assuming these files play fine on your PC before burning?
Does it say the name of the unsupported audio?

by process im presuming you mean program?
if so im using windows dvd maker

and its saying "some of the selected video clips contain an unsupported audio format"

yeh they work perfectly fine on my laptop before burning both video and audio

Look at a clip that does not play the audio on stand-alone using MediaInfo and post the audio information.

well, I think usually there's a audio codec/decode problem between the burning program and your videos, if your videos use the imcompatible audio codecs with the burning program, you will meet this no audio problem, so hope this information can help you.
