WAV Files & Windows Media Player

    Hi,

I'm using Windows Media Player to play my music, and I use a mixture of .wav & .wma files. The .wma files are fine, but the .wav file names aren't being carried through to Windows Media Player. The file name of the .wav file is:

    MODERN WALTZ - Jazz Waltz

    I renamed it to:

    JAZZ WALTZ MODERN WALTZ

But i still have the same problem.

Basically, Media Player shows the name as "MODERN WALTZ" regardless of what i change the name to in My Music (it's on an E Drive, but that doesn't make a difference.)

    Can somebody please help me?

WAV Files & Windows Media Player

If you right click the file in Windows Media Player it shows the "Title" as MODERN WALTZ under the "Content" tab. It won't however let me change this. Does somebody know how to fix that?

    Thanks

I don't know where it's pulling the name "Modern Waltz" from. I think it has something to do when the CD was burned originally. If you change the name in Windows Media Player it changes the "title" under the "content" tab to the same thing.

If anybody has any ideas, it would be much appreciated. Thanks very much.
