dvd space issue

    dvd space issue

    i am trying to write files on my dvd but i cant seem to writ more than 2.32 gb of data.i am using the windows explorer burner.i want to know what i can do to fix this problem

    I would try Imgburn. See the Imgburn subforum here for guides.

      thanks ill try image burn......now another problem arose....after writing the 2.32 gb on the dvd i let it stay in the dvd drive of my pc....when i turned my pc on again all the data was gone!!!!

        Sounds like you didn't finalize the disc. I'm no expert on all the CD/DVD writing procedures but the author of Imgburn is. If you search the forums or ask there I'm sure they can tell you exactly what did or didn't happen.

        Some DVD tools let you look into sessions that weren't finalized. You may still be able to read the data off. But again, the Imgburn forum has people who know a lot more about DVD burning than I do.
