    Default Any good ideas for playing MP4 files on Mac

    I open Quick Time and drag a mp4 files into it, fails. What should I do?

    Quick Time need a codec to play .mp4 and .wmv formats. You should download a new media player, as I know, Macgo Blu-ray Player, VLC, or Aurora Media Player are all good choices, which can play almost all media formats.

    VLC player can play .mp4 files with ease, and is available for different operating systems including MacOS.

    I think VLC player is a better option for playing Mp4 files n Mac.
