    Default Encoding quits when 92% done

    I have been trying to copy 9 home movie DVDs onto my computer. On 5 of them, no matter if I use "Chapters", "Second", or "Frames", the result is the same: when the progress bar gets to about 92% complete, with approximately 2 minutes remaining, it suddenly stops and says it is "complete". Then when I view the saved file, it is not a complete copy of my DVD, usually short by a few minutes or so. I have not messed with any settings. I just let the software pick the defaults. I have the same problem using Handbrake. I have tried setting shorter encode times when I noticed that there was alot of blank space at the end of the DVD, but that has had limited success. What is going on? I would really appreciate some help here. Thanks!
